How To Get Your Website ‘Out There’

Hi there, if you’ve been following along then you will know that I’m taking part in the 30 Day Blogging Challenge with Sarah Arrow (for the 2nd time) and combining it with a content challenge that was running last month in Jenn Scalia’s Little Black Business Book membership group. Today is day 18 of the challenge – How To Get Your Website ‘Out There’. This post came about from a question posed by one of my Coaching Rocks group members, Sue Lee of Sue Lee Hypnotherapy.

Here’s a super quick summary of my top tips;

  1. Create an irresistible freebie to get people to sign up to your list
  2. Send a newsletter providing useful and informative content for your ideal clients
  3. Share the love – talk about other people that you love to work with, do shout outs for them
  4. Write blog posts – on your site and for others as a guest blogger
  5. Create a list of free resources (remember to add your website details at the bottom of anything you’re giving away)
  6. Create inspirational memes – put your website details on the bottom so that when they’re shared it can attract more traffic to your site
  7. Share your blog posts on Pinterest – again it drives more traffic
  8. Tell people about your website – ask them to share content
  9. Comment on other people’s blogs that interest you
  10. Add a call to action on your social media posts – send them back to your website when you can

Action: Let me know in the comments below what one thing you might try to get your website ‘out there’.

More clients freebie

Ps – If you’re struggling to find paying clients, or simply want more of them, I’ve created a fab little freebie for you. Just fill in your details below and it will be winging its way over to your inbox in no time!

My client, Rebecca Ronane, who coaches women forward after 50, used this very technique with the following results in just a couple of days…

“An update on my push to get clients. Many more likes on my FB business page, 41 responses & 16 have given me their email addresses so I am happy. Will report back total in a week when ad finishes. Thank you Ruby for the idea, brilliant!”

**Please note by signing up you will be added to my mailing list where I send out a weekly newsletter with some hints and tips to help you build your coaching business **
