Hi there, welcome to day 30 of the 30 Day Blogging Challenge with Sarah Arrow. Woohoo, I did it! Ok, so not as stylishly, or consistently, as when I joined the challenge earlier this year but I still achieved it despite the odds, so I’m celebrating!
Over the 30-days, I’ve covered all sorts of different topics from patience to pricing, my story, weak spots in your business to niching and visibility, and so much more. I decided to do video posts and other than a few days I managed to achieve that.
After I went through the 30 day challenge the last time, I had a video interview with Sarah Arrow and she said that I had been the first person to complete every single element of the challenge, without exception. I can definitely say that wasn’t the case this time!! This time was planned to be a combination of challenges though so I’m ok with that too. (Wow, the work I’ve been doing on loosening up my perfectionist side is finally working! Check me out!!)
So, let me share my main learnings;
- Make sure that you set aside enough time for other things that might come up. I didn’t do that this time.
- Know that it’s ok not to be perfect. If you slip up then you can pick up where you left off.
- It’s ok to quit (my friend wanted me to), but it’s also ok not to quit and to just slow things down a bit, completing them as and when you can
If you want to follow along with the series then start at day one here. I’m going to be sharing the links to the series every day on my Facebook page, so if you’d prefer to do that then just pop by here and you’ll find the posts running in sequential order.
Finally, you may have seen my posts about this fabulous new book, ‘Awaken Your True Potential’? It’s out on Kindle now and really a great read. I’m a Co-Author and have written all about being brave, authentic and fabulous, but it’s not just my stuff, there are some amazing authors in there sharing their pearls of wisdom. Grab yourself a copy. It would make a great gift for people too, paper version coming soon. Exciting!

I haven’t been consistent with this go-round either. I missed a few days last time, but this time I have missed several days in a row several times and still have a few more to go. I will still have 30 more posts at the end of it than I have before though. I had a round on another blog where I got 9 days in and then restarted from 1 when I fell of track and I think just picking back up where I left off feels a bit better, but that’s just me.

Keep going with it. It’s a great feeling when you get it done, even if it does take longer than it should!
