What a great idea Vicky! I will have to check that out, thanks for sharing. I love that it's 5 a day so easy to remember too. Great idea re. your alarm. I often wonder why we start our day with a blasting alarm clock to wake us up instead of gentle music, I changed mine recently too.

Hi Ruby,
I did this thing at work called Mind Apples which is a similar idea. Just as we are encouraged to take 5 pieces of fruit or veg a day, this session encourages you to do 5 things in the day for yourself. One thing I did recently was change my alarm so that it plays Classic FM rather than Kiss FM. I find it wakes me in a much more relaxing way and sometimes I just lie and enjoy the music. Other stations have often got me in a bad mood before I've even got out of bed!

I think when we are having a tough time self care often takes a back seat, the ironic thing is it's the time when we really should look after ourselves more, not less. I'm really glad the quiz has been of some benefit :o)

Hey Ruby. Great post as per usual! Couldn't come at a better time for me personally.

I have had a rough couple of months, and my usual self care definitely took back seat in my life.
Recently my preservation instinct took charge & forced me to make choices that would put me first.
I cannot begin to tell what a difference it has made already, and it has only been a week! Number 1 thing that made a HUGE difference has been exercise. I have only been back at the gym for the past week but my energy levels have soared beyond my expectations. I am now looking forward to introducing self care in all the other areas of my life, which I was able to pinpoint with the help of your quizz. Thank You!
